The Faculty of History and Geography employs 35 teacher-researchers, offering a general course up to until Masters level when it becomes specialised. It has two associated research centres recognised by the Ministry.

Academic Programs
The Faculty of History and Geography issues a Bachelors Degree in history after three years of study (with 4 sections from the third semester onwards : advanced history, history-geography, archeology, human science) and a Bachelors Degree in geography (with 2 sections : environment, geography-history).
It is possible to take a professional Bachelors Degree in heritage, environment and tourism, open on application to students having followed the first four semesters of the bachelors degree course, or having a BTS certificate.
It also offers three Masters Degrees :
- The phenomena of war, past and present, law, political science, medecine, history (research specialism : the phenomena of war in the west from antiquity to present day; professional specialism : Evaluating intervention in contemporary crises and conflicts.)
- Culture, identity, territory and trading (in collaboration with the Faculty of Languages) (research specialism : ancient history, medieval, modern and contemporary ; research and professional specialism : ancient and medieval archeology.)
- Careers in archiving and applied technology (speciality - professional, from September 2005)
Masters Degrees in history may be awarded to students having validated 240 credits (ie. one year of masters study following three years of a bachelors degree).
