Summarry of the thesis
The main objectives of this program are :
- A database development upon the vegetation of Nord, Pas-de-Calais, Somme and Aisne départements.
- The description of primary and secondary vegetation succession in these territories.
- The identification of spatial connectivity of these series by detection of teselas and catenas (symphytosociology).
- The building of a database upon landscape patterns of these regions.
- The production of Mendeleïev tables upon these territories to illustrate the dynamic and topographic links of identified vegetation.
- The statistical check of the synusia-phytocenosis-tesela-catena model in the study area.
This project is a part of the CarHAB program of the Ministry of Ecology, which aims to map the terrestrial natural and semi-natural habitats of France at 1/25,000.
