On Thursday, May 21, we met in Lens, at the Université d’Artois, for the first E.SENSE in-person workshop: “Sustainable Transformation”. This workshop brought together A2U researchers working on photovoltaics, wind energy and piezoelectricity. The aim of the day was to encourage interdisciplinary discussions, present the projects co-funded by E.SENSE, and promote the link between artificial intelligence and energy. It was also a great opportunity for researchers to meet, exchange ideas and explore future collaborations.
The workshop also gave our PhD students the opportunity to present their research and receive valuable feedback from researchers from different laboratories and scientific backgrounds:
- Lola Turquier (CRP-CPO): What organizational culture(s) should be promoted to support a sustainable energy transition? And how?
- Chloé Blas (UCCS): 2D/3D Materials Based on Inorganic Halide Perovskites as Photocatalysts for Solar Hydrogen Production (Acronym: 2PH)
A big thank you to Sébastien Saitzek, Frédéric Sauvage and Sébastien Royer for organizing and leading this workshop. Thanks also to all the speakers and participants for their presence and involvement.
