This third set of works is aimed at studying the role of modern literature in the affirmation of feminist values and in the criticism of patriarchal injunctions. This role will be brought to light from both a sociological perspective – the literary fact, either as a production or as a reception activity, reveals the gendered representations of the social world and has the power to reactivate or modify them – and a philosophical perspective , as literature constitutes a mine of moral knowledge which helps understanding how masculine and feminine identities are constructed and deconstructed, at the intersection of political, social, economic and political injunctions.
These studies address:
- Literature through the prism of the philosophy of ordinary language and of care ethics.
- Literature as a vector of rupture from the social group (gender defectors, affirmation of sexualities, breach of taboos).
- Production, reception and usages of literary goods.
