The Sustainable Day in Amiens

🧪 The Sustainable Day in Amiens – Free Scientific event 🌿

Scientific Day Dedicated to Chemistry for Energy and Sustainable Development
📅 November 5th, 2026
📌 Amiens, France

The excellence program e.sense and the Chimie Verte Academy (Centers of Excellence for Green Chemistry Training – France2030), are joining forces to organize their first joint scientific conference.

This scientific event is dedicated to two key components of sustainable development: energy storage, particularly electrical energy storage, and green chemistry.

Six plenary lectures will be delivered by leading researchers in those fields and at their intersections. Their presentations will be both educational and inspiring, addressing topics such as emerging techniques and technologies whose development will be essential to meeting the challenges of the 21st century.

The event will take place on November 5th, 2026, at the Science Campus of Picardie Jules Verne University in Amiens, France (Energy HUB building).

It is expected to bring together 100 participants, including undergraduate and graduate students, PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, faculty members, and researchers from the region and neighboring areas.

The program will also feature short oral presentations, and a poster session, call for abstract is open for Master students, PhD students and post-doctoral fellows.
