You are here : Accueil > Recherche > GRECO

Founding partners and associated research units allow to build the background of several European and world premieres with GRECO, as it is a federated research institution of excellence.

Current events

  • Machine Learning helping with children’s autism diagnostic viaEye Tracking , (I.A., e-Santé)
  • Mini-invasive robot- assisted surgery by the binding of neurological scoliosis to the pelvis
  • « ALOHA », Monitoring of ambulatory patients (I.A., e-Health)
  • « CASSPair », algebraic crypto-analysis applied to health data storage (Cybersecurity, e-Health)
  • « Vert’Pom », PIA3 Project : Data-storing confidentiality, authentication of Smart Grids (Cybersecurity)
  • « Smart Angel », PSPC PIA3 Project : decision-making support tools in resuscitation or outpatient monitoring (Cyber security)

Achievements

Medical interventions driven by GRECO are still brand-new. All of them were achieved with the help of robotic assisted procedures. This allowed to build a new form of patient care.

Recent achievements :

  • Cochlear implantation under total robotic assistance – worldwide premiere (Dr Nathalie KLOPP-DUTOTE, Pr Vladimir STRUNSKI, Pr Michel LEFRANC) / 2019
  • Laser surgery integrated within real-time MRI scan for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease tremors and related disorders (Pr Michel LEFRANC) / 2019
  • Pediatric robotic assisted spine surgery in severe cases of scoliosis, using simulation room (Pr. Christine AMMIRATI, Pr François DEROUSSEN, Pr. Richard GOURON et Pr Michel LEFRANC) / 2018
  • Use of radio frequencies in ablation of bone tumour, with robotic assistance (Dr Bruno BONNAIRE, Pr. Antoine GABRION et Pr Michel LEFRANC) / 2016
  • Robotic assisted lombar discal hernia surgery (Pr Michel LEFRANC et Pr.Johann PELTIER) / 2015
  • Ostheo synthesis (closed surgery) robotic guided spine screw setting (Dr Anthony FICHTEN, Pr Michel LEFRANC et Pr. Johann PELTIER) / 2014
  • Robotic assisted medical care for spine diseases (Pr Michel LEFRANC)
