Il s\u2019engageait ainsi dans la voie d\u2019une th\u00e9orie du ready-made selon laquelle tout et n\u2019importe quoi peut \u00eatre per\u00e7u <em>comme <\/em>une \u0153uvre d\u2019art. Danto \u00e9tait certainement loin de le penser, mais cette th\u00e9orie a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00ab&nbsp;reprise&nbsp;\u00bb d\u2019une mani\u00e8re tout aussi invers\u00e9e axiologiquement que na\u00efve dans bien des cas, et par une quantit\u00e9 de pamphl\u00e9taires qui, ces vingt derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, n\u2019ont cess\u00e9 de d\u00e9noncer \u00ab&nbsp;l\u2019imposture de l\u2019art contemporain&nbsp;\u00bb, pour citer le titre d\u2019un des ouvrages les plus c\u00e9l\u00e8bres dans cette veine&nbsp;: <em>L\u2019imposture de l\u2019art contemporain<\/em>, de Aude de Kerros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deux visions de l\u2019art, en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 deux ontologies irr\u00e9conciliables de l\u2019\u0153uvre d\u2019art, s\u2019opposent dans ce malentendu. L\u2019erreur, dans ce dialogue de sourds, serait certainement de vouloir trop vite liquider la question de l\u2019imposture, de vouloir trancher la question de savoir si oui ou non l\u2019art de l\u2019\u00e8re post-esth\u00e9tique rel\u00e8ve ou non de l\u2019imposture. Le choix ici est de ne pas refuser cette question, sous pr\u00e9texte d\u2019\u00e9vidences malmen\u00e9es, mais de la prendre au s\u00e9rieux comme sympt\u00f4me d\u2019une situation esth\u00e9tique, sociale et historique.
