Ses travaux portent essentiellement sur l&rsquo;image imprim\u00e9e et la peinture en France de la Belle Epoque \u00e0 la Grande Guerre.<br>Il est l&rsquo;auteur de plusieurs ouvrages dont\u00a0<em>L\u2019Affiche illustr\u00e9e au temps de l\u2019affichomanie<\/em>\u00a01889-1905 (Mare &amp; Martin, 2014 &#8211; Prix du Mus\u00e9e d&rsquo;Orsay 2011), <em>Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. La strat\u00e9gie de l\u2019\u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8re\u00a0<\/em>(Hazan, 2019) et <em>Les Ma\u00eetres de l&rsquo;Affiche <\/em>(Citadelles &amp; Mazenod, 2025).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 commissaire des expositions <em>La Plume 1889-1899, une revue \u00ab\u00a0Pour l\u2019Art\u00a0!\u00a0\u00bb<\/em> (Paris, INHA, 2007),\u00a0<em>Impressions \u00e0 Montmartre\u00a0: Eug\u00e8ne Del\u00e2tre et Alfredo M\u00fcller (<\/em>Paris, Mus\u00e9e de Montmartre, 2013),\u00a0<em>Adolphe Willette (1857-1926) \u00ab\u00a0J\u2019\u00e9tais bien plus heureux quand j\u2019\u00e9tais malheureux\u00a0\u00bb <\/em>(L&rsquo;Isle-Adam, Mus\u00e9e d&rsquo;Art et d&rsquo;Histoire Louis-Senlecq, 2014), <em>L\u2019 Affiche illustr\u00e9e \u00e0 la Belle \u00c9poque. La collection Dutailly (<\/em>Chaumont, Le Signe, 2017)<em>,<\/em> <em>Toulouse-Lautrec<\/em> (Rovigo, Palazzo Roverella, 2024) et <em>Cappiello caricaturiste 1895-1903<\/em> (L&rsquo;Isle-Adam, Mus\u00e9e d&rsquo;Art et d&rsquo;Histoire Louis-Senlecq, 2024).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coordinateur du s\u00e9minaire doctoral <em>Les Mardis du CRAE<\/em> depuis 2022, il est par ailleurs membre du conseil scientifique du Mus\u00e9e Toulouse-Lautrec d&rsquo;Albi et du Comit\u00e9 national de l&rsquo;estampe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ses enseignements sont consacr\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;histoire de la peinture et de la sculpture en France au XIXe si\u00e8cle (Licence 1), aux avant-gardes du d\u00e9but du XXe si\u00e8cle et \u00e0 l&rsquo;histoire de la critique d&rsquo;art (Licence 2), \u00e0 l&rsquo;art et la culture \u00e0 la Belle Epoque ainsi qu&rsquo;\u00e0 l&rsquo;histoire et \u00e0 l&rsquo;esth\u00e9tique des arts graphiques au XIXe si\u00e8cle (Licence 3).
