The Development of Expertise in Teaching as Applied Behaviour Analysts and the Effects on Students

As part of the CABAS’ training curriculum teachers do studies replicating published research and implement tested tactics. Four studies will be outlined that involved decreasing target behaviours using tactics such as token economy, contingent observation, and punishment procedures. And a study that showed the effectiveness of increasing rate of teacher presentation on student responding across a range of programs.
