Olive Healy
Glasheen Girls National School, Ireland.

A complete and extensive curriculum for training teachers, supervisors and parents is implemented by the Comprehensive Application of Behaviour Analysis to Schooling. The research in CABAS’ has shown that children¹s progress is functionally tied to teacher expertise. At the Cork CABAS’ School project teachers function as strategic scientists monitoring all instructional responses and undergo thorough training in order to advance their expertise in behaviour analysis. An outline of teacher progress within the CABAS’ curriculum will be provided. A functional relationship will be shown between teachers use of scientific rules and student learning. The progression of student performance will be summarised using the school wide and individual data.
